Growth Direct has launched a structured education program for account holders, replacing its previous library of standalone articles with a graded lesson track, scheduled live sessions and practical exercises tied to the platform's own tools. The program opened to every account tier this week.

A Curriculum Built Around Where New Traders Lose Money

The program is organized into four tracks: platform mechanics, chart reading, risk and position sizing, and order execution. Each track runs as a sequence of short lessons rather than one long course, and lessons unlock in sequence, so a trader who has not covered margin mechanics does not arrive at a leverage lesson without the groundwork behind it.

The risk track carries the most material. It covers position sizing against account equity, the arithmetic of drawdown recovery, stop placement measured against instrument volatility, and the treatment of correlated positions held at the same time. Exercises ask the trader to size a hypothetical position by hand and then compare that figure against the platform's own margin calculator, which surfaces the gap between what a trader assumes an entry will cost and what it actually ties up.

Chart reading is handled inside the platform's charting workspace rather than through static images. Lessons open a live chart with the relevant indicator already applied, so the tool and the concept are learned in the same window. The execution track covers market, limit, stop and trailing stop orders, with a closing section on how each behaves when liquidity thins around a data release.

Scheduled Sessions Sit Alongside the Recorded Material

Alongside the recorded lessons, Growth Direct will run scheduled live sessions hosted by its analysis team. The sessions follow a weekly rhythm: a market outlook at the start of the week, a workshop on a single technique in the middle of it, and an open question session at the end. Every session is recorded and added to the library afterwards for account holders in other time zones.

The workshops are the element the company has described as the practical core of the program. Each one takes a narrow subject, such as reading an economic calendar release or managing a position through a weekend gap, and works it through on a chart in front of the audience rather than in slides. Attendees can submit instruments in advance for the host to examine during the session.

Registration runs through the account dashboard rather than a separate page, and attendance is recorded, so a trader can see which parts of the curriculum they have covered and which remain. Completion of a full track is marked on the account profile, and the company has said track completion will eventually feed into eligibility for a mentorship pilot it intends to run later in the year.

Retail Participation Has Grown Faster Than Retail Training

The launch arrives during a sustained expansion in retail market participation across forex, indices, commodities and crypto. Access has widened considerably in recent years: accounts open in minutes, smaller contract sizing has lowered the capital barrier to entry, and mobile browsers have made intraday trading practical for people who are not sitting at a desk.

Training has not widened at the same pace. Much of the educational material available to retail traders sits outside the platforms they actually trade on, spread across video channels and paid courses of uneven quality, and very little of it is tied to the specific interface in front of the trader. The consequences tend to show up in the same few places: position sizes chosen by instinct, stops placed at round numbers because the numbers look tidy, and a thin understanding of what an overnight financing charge does to a position held open for several weeks.

Several platforms have responded by moving education inside the product rather than treating it as marketing collateral that sits beside it. The Growth Direct program follows that pattern, with lessons running inside the working platform rather than describing it from outside.

What the Company Says It Is Trying to Fix

A spokesperson for Growth Direct said the decision came out of support ticket data rather than a marketing plan.

"We looked at what people were actually asking us, and a large share of it was not technical faults at all. It was people asking how to use the thing properly. Someone asking why their position closed is usually really asking how margin works, they just do not have the vocabulary for it yet. You can answer that one ticket at a time forever, or you can build the answer into the product. We went with the second one, and we built it so the lesson happens on a live chart instead of in a PDF nobody opens twice."

The spokesperson said the four tracks will be extended through the rest of the year, with a fifth covering portfolio construction in development, and that the live workshop schedule will move into additional time zones once attendance patterns across regions are clearer. Material for the existing tracks will be reviewed quarterly and updated where platform features change.

Access to the program is included for all account holders at no additional cost, and the recorded material is open to holders of demonstration accounts, who can work through the curriculum before funding an account.
